Social service done by missionaries to the minority ethnic in tribal/ nontribal areas is not related to precondition of selling their"soul" to the missionaries. Conversion to christianity in recent time has not been forceful, though many non christians see conversion as alluring.
Very interestingly rather than coming to India and doing charitable services to the tribals in India if the western governments( USA/UK/ FRANCE/CANADA/AUSTRALIA etc) wanted a mass conversion and made a precondition of conversion to christianity as one of the criteria before immigration visa is granted I am sure there will be a mass stampede by non christians in all the embassies in the metros. The terms luring/ forceful will then not be used. But that is not the case and no Hindu has been coerced or lured to convert to christianity in any of the western countries after the non christians have immigrated. Christianity is not a western( UK/American) religion . Westernisation has nothing to do with christianity.
