There is no lack of recourse in India and outside of India to help the suffering people. The problem is finding honest and trustworthy people to carry on these services to the poor.
Please visit Philanthrophy website you will find tons of resources which you can tap into many charitable causes to uplift your people.
If you have an NGO go straight into and submit your plans. If you need help I can surly help. There are many Indians getting million of Dollars in the name of charitable work. Last month one group got more than 3 million for some program in Jhanrkhand to promote educational and employment program for the poor.
Christians will not come and walk away simply. They are taught in their Church and also their Bible says " Go ye into all the world, and PREACH and TEACH the good news to all to the ends of the earth." Africa is today civilized because of Christianity. India would have been a better place had the Britisher's stayed for some more time. Had they, India would have been the most richest nation. We can still do it but our dirty politicians have no guts.
Give us a chance to go in and help the poor people to TEACH them to Help themselves.
