| Training workshop at Jeypore, Koraput on Livelihood Promotion for Hilly Regions |
Dear Friends,
This is good news for all of us that under a collaboration with LIVELIHOOD SCHOOL-BASIX. Kolkata we are organizing a residential training workshop at Jeypore, Koraput on Livelihood Promotion for Hilly Regions . This will be held from 27th March to 29th March 2008. This is a well woven training programme designed to cater the need of field workers devoting their time, energy and labour in promoting livelihood of poor in villages. It was observed from various forums and studies that there is a grave need of equipping field level professionals and dedicated workers with practical tools and problem solving approaches in Livelihood Security projects at Govt. and NGO level. Considering the time and financial constraints of small and medium NGOs working this customized training programme is designed only for 3 days with a very reasonable and affordable cost of Rs.4000/-only. It will also encourage easy learning process. The cost covers accommodation, food and training fee.
Due to overwhelming response to our previous training programme on ‘Sustainable Agriculture’ we could not accommodate many aspirants from NGOs. Therefore we request you to send the names of participants in advance by 24th March 2008 to avoid such situation.
