>>>"Where did the Zend Avesta get so much of Sanskrit from ? How the Sumerians spoke a language so close to Tamil or Telugu ?
Will you please tell me one Indian language except Tamil that is not a derived one of Sanskrit ? Go ahead, this is a very serious one. The liguistic field is quite daunting and there are ample resources on the net.">>>
I think you are really asking important questions here, and raising very important points regarding languages, theri evolution and relationship to civilisation. I too am asking similar questions. And the direction in which this is leading is something that will really boggle the mind and perhaps cause many histories to be rewritten. I am indeed obliged to you for the links you sent. I enjoyed reading Chandler's material, very useful, and offered many important insights, but did not take me in the direction you suggest. I found more corroboration here for some of the work I have been doing. I approach the question from a different angle, you see.
